I May Be Here, And I May Not Be

That sale I'm having? The buy one shirt, get one half off? It's a huge success. I'm thrilled nigh unto death. And from the bottom of my heart, I thank every one of you who have placed orders.

But it's keeping me on my toes. In fact I should be sewing right now, I just needed to come down and check on a size when I remembered to post to my blog. I love being busy in the sewing room, but it may mean that I won't read many blogs over the next week. Sorry in advance.

And then the next week? I won't be reading blogs either. Why? Because today I bought plane tickets for our entire family to visit friends in Arizona. We're just a tad bit excited. (Okay, we've been doing the happy dance all day. And I think I wet myself just a little bit, too.) We just thought out loud last Thursday that it sure would be nice to go visit said friends, and turns out the best time to go is next week, so here we are in this oh-so-fun place.

We're not normally this impulsive. Normally we talk about things so much that the idea is old and stale before anything actually happens. That's the part where my husband is involved. Me? I'm the spontaneous one. Especially where travel is concerned. But taking the kids is a whole new ball game and I'm laying awake at night worrying about Micah at the Grand Canyon. And Micah on the plane. And Micah at the airport.

You get the picture. Funny how he's the one I worry about. So anyway, that's the deal. We're excited, we're busy, and we're now impulsive. I'll try to keep caught up the best I can but please don't get offended if I skip the comments for a while.

Happy sewing! I've been neglecting it for too long. I need to get down there and make a dress for the Infant Toddler fundraiser on April 12. I better get going! Glad your sale is going well.

So I am still super excited, and giddy as a teenager again, at the thought of meeting you! :) Bug asked me if I was writing to my "pen pal" and I told him that I was getting to meet you, FINALLY!

His only concern was if he had to go with me. Ahhh... such love from that one. :)

Color me three shades of jealous that you are meeting Sports!! Happy sewing!

I feel like some kind of idiot because I totally forgot to send you a check and we got Gracie's fab shirt in the mail today. I'm sending the check tomorrow. Like I said, I feel like a big jerk.

Gracie is THRILLED with the shirt. In fact, she is currently sleeping in it and plans to wear it to school tomorrow. I know, that's kind of icky, but whatever helps her go to bed I'm all for. So thank you from both of us. She begged me to take pictures and told me to send them to you. Watch for those (in an e-mail) and the check...

Still feeling like a goober about that check...

Ooh, that sounds like fun! I'm so jealous.

I really wish I could buy some more shirts. I had planned to after the first of the year, but then we had all these moving expenses and THEN I found out we have to pay taxes. Can you believe it? Anyway, I'm supremely jealous of all those people getting great shirts.

Hold the show. You're meeting Sports Mama? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I'm jealous. Muy jealous. You fly out to Arizona to meet her, but don't drive across town to meet me. ;-)

I need to make up my mind about shirt #2. I'll probably do so at the very last second. That's just how I roll.

Have a great trip!!!! If you are in Gilbert AZ you need to eat at Joe's BBQ on Main street. It is incredable!!! (We used to live there)If you go please think of me while you are there. I always order the jumbo baker with pulled pork on top. Ohhh my goodness I am salivating just thinking about it!!!!

Hey if you want to take a day trip while you're in AZ we're only one state over in NM! :)

I want to order a couple shirts for Kayla (I Love the "I'm 5" one!) but I messed up last time I placed and an order and want to make sure I do it right this time :) And I'm not in any hurry w/the shirts as she won't be 5 until July. I think I want to get the ice cream shirt you showed too - she pretends anything is an ice cream cone! but I didn't see it on the etsy site, unless I missed it the first time.

wow! have fun on your trip! I went to AZ many many years ago and LOVED it...can't wait to go back sometime. I'm sure Micah will be fine...they tend to put up guardrails around that big hole in the ground out there. ;)
