It's Opposite Day

What is the opposite of the dog days of summer? Isn't the dog days of summer when things are really hot and you just want to lay around like a lazy dog, panting with your tongue hanging out? That opposite of that happened today. We woke up rather cold-ish since the windows were all open, and I put on long sleeves with joy and gladness. I love cool weather. This typically happens here around Independence Day, because if we're not wearing sweatshirts to watch fireworks, something is amiss. (Never fear, we had that one cold day on July 4th in the midst of all the hot weather we had been having. All is right in the world.)

I'm not sure what's up with the weather, or when it's to get back to normal, but I thoroughly enjoyed today, the opposite of the dog days of summer.
