Picture This

Colleen at Wine Please tagged me for the picture meme. This is a fun one and I'm more than happy to play along. Not that I'm not happy to play any meme, but some require more thought than others and therefore need to be put off until a later date. This one requires little thought, only time. I've got time today with more sick kids, but little thinking going on with the clogged brain. (I've got a cold, thank goodness. I've managed to keep the flu at bay.)

1. The age you will be on your next birthday. Bearing in mind that I've just had a birthday last month, so I'm not all THAT old. Yet.

2. A place you'd like to visit.

3. Your favorite place.
There's nothing like home. (This was as we were bulding, ignore the construction look.)

4. Favorite object.
One of them. Food ranks right up there, and my computer, and my sewing machine... But fabric is an obsession. See all that there? I've got that much at least in the studio. No, I don't have an addiction. Why would you ask?

5. Favorite food. (This is a food, right?)

6. Favorite animal. It's a toss up between the two. It depends on who's vet bills are lower that month.

7. Favorite color

8. City in which you were born

9. The town in which you live. Okay, it's not a town but I had a hard enough time finding a picture of the town where I was born. This is my parent's farm across the road from us and they live in the same town that I do, obviously. One farm in this town is pretty much the same as another farm. The town? Sports a stop sign at either end of Main Street.

10. The name of your pet.
These are the dogs. I refrained from doing the horses. You're welcome.

11. The first name of your love

12. Your nickname/screen name
I've got no nickname, and use this as my screen name. Weirdly, it's also my real name. And who knew I had my own magazine?

13. Middle name

14. Last name.
This is as close as Google will let me come. It won't recognize my last name. Maybe I don't really exist.

15. A bad habit of yours.
So they tell me. I don't see it myself.

16. Your first job.
I was cleaning crew after breakfast at a summer camp. I felt like this!

17. Your dream job.
What can I say? I love being a SAHM. If only my kids would wear something like this to show their appreciation.

18. Your current job

19. A picture you find hilarious
Well, amusing. Not hilarious. It's harder than I realized. Maybe I'm just not that easily amused?

20. A picture that inspires you

I seriously want to tag someone with this, but my linking skills have reached their limits. Tag yourself and run with it. Please.

You chose such fun pictures. This is a nice break from the regular meme's.

So I went back and looked at your meme this morning and I think I had a brain fart last night. That's a stock picture of fabric, isn't it? I should not be allowed to blog at night when my brain is on siesta. :)

I sort of have a fabric addiction too, except I don't buy mine. I just love to look at it and think about all the things I'd like to do with it. And I love to feel fabrics. If someone has on a cool shirt or coat or something I always ask if I can feel the fabric. Kind of weird, I guess.

Since I already did this meme I'll skip it, but you did a great job!

I too have a fabric addiction. The problem is that I don't manage to actually use most of what I buy. *sigh*

That was fun!! I have never seen one where you use pictures. I couldn't see the pictures of your dogs! And I would have loved to have seen your horses! Your parent's place is beautiful! I would love to live there!

That was fun! I had done that before but maybe one day I will do it again.

yay!!! thanks for playing...that was fun to see!

and I laughed at the squirrels, too. I actually miss squirrels...we don't seem to have any around here.

I love fabric, too. I just walk through Joann's and touch touch touch and wonder when I could try to squeeze in a project... So then I just buy more yarn instead because I could make a single baby bootie in one night (although it would be an orphan bootie until I remember to create another one months later).
