It's March! And better weather should be on the way. Or not. We do live in the mountains here and snow happens well into April. (Sometimes even May and June, but we won't think about that.) But once we get through February it's not so very scary. Storms come and go, but they're generously sprinkled with ever-warmer days. And if I'm lucky I may see a crocus sometime this month. That would be wonderful.
Of course thawing snow means that I'll be able to see what 4 dogs have been doing in the yard when I let them out all winter. We're pretty careful about letting the kids play outside until I have a full day to walk around with a shovel. Weird that I love using the horse's doo for the gardens but for some reason even thinking of using the dog's is just nasty.
So anyhoo...
Since readership tends to die a sudden death come Friday at midnight-ish, I've decided to do a photo show on Saturdays. So without further ado, here's this week's picks. They're all from last year this time - I hit the archives.
I cannot believe how much he's grown! In fact, I bought him size 3 shirts at the beginning of last summer and by the end of summer he was in a size 5. He seriously grew!
He loves helping with the laundry. When the dryer is empty it becomes a great hiding place!
Coloring eggs last year. For some reason Becky wasn't home. It was Boys Having Fun day.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your pictures! I am so glad that you shared!
I love the photo of your son sleeping on the carpet. There's something about a sleeping child that tugs at the heartstrings...
God bless, and have a wondeful weekend.
How cute is he!! I just want to give me a little rub on his back in the first picture!
Hmmm. The dryer? I wonder if I hid in there, would I be able to get my lard ass out?? Is it worth trying anyways?? Hmmm.
I know. It certainly feels like March. We hit 77 today & I was LOVING it! We may escape this winter without any snow and only about 10 days below freezing. I have LOVED it!!
I KNOW what our ONE dog has done to our yard. She does it right outside the kitchen window because it's too cold to venture out into the yard. I can only imagine what 4 dogs would do! Yikes!
I love the picture idea! Micah is so cute. And, wow, 2 shirt sizes. He really did grow!
BTW - thanks for clicking my top momma!
Oh what fun. And Friday is usually the night I have time for serious catching up on blogs. Huh. Great pictures!
omg that sleeping pic is just so precious!
i love that first pic. you really caught an innocent moment there. :)
snow, snow go away...
I do not look that adorable while sleeping! Not fair! Nor do I look half as cute when I it inside my dryer! :)
Hallie
I love that sleeping picture! It was like he was just having too much fun and thought, "I'll just lay here a second...". And I love the impish grin while in the dryer. :D
That reminds me, it might actually be nice enough for me to plant the tulip bulbs that have been sitting in my garage since October that are now starting to sprout....
awwww! He is so precious. My favorite is the dryer picture!
Seeing your kids coloring eggs {last year} is getting me excited for Easter!
Love seeing pictures... your kids are cute! love the dryer one that is too funny
I love the pics! They are so cute. I love that you're going to be doing picture shows on Saturdays! Your kids are so beautiful.
So glad I'm not the only low traffic on the weekends :( I love those shots! I can't wait to color eggs this year....so much fun!
My husband's big brothers put him in the dryer as a joke turned it on. I imagine that moment wasn't as cute as these adorable pics!
too cute! i just want to take a nap now. just about time to color eggs again!
So I stick my kid in the dishwasher when she throws up on herself, but what did Micah do to deserve time in the dryer? Pour a bottle of water over his head?
WAY cute photos. That Micah is a looker, that's for sure.
Very sweet pictures. I've been reading through your recent posts trying to catch up. I've been so behind on the blogging world lately. Lobe jobs & granny porn...quite interesting stuff!
Blessings,
Jen
I laughed when I saw the dryer photo. I had to go back and hunt for them, but I had some dryer pictures I posted of my special needs grandson who loved the dryer too. (I think he might be too big to squeeze in there now. He is 6.)
