Anglophile Football Fanatic is co-hosting a Tax Relief Swap. What is it? I'm so glad that you asked. Every year April 15 is synonomous with a death knell for so many people. We're one the fortunate ones that get a hefty refund every year (and heftier with each child birthed). But no matter whether you're on the giving or receiving end, it all centers around (not so) dear old Uncle Sam. Well, it's time we take back the day!
This year on April 15 we will be doing a gift box swap. All bloggers, everywhere, all over the world, are invited to participate. (Although you may specify if you prefer not to ship internationally. Based on where you live, we all understand that the rough $25 value of the box could be doubled in shipping.) Sounds fun, no? Once all the names are in the database, they will randomly assign each of us someone to send a care package to. I, personally, love to both give and receive gifts so this is something that I'm looking forward to with much enthusiasm. But the bugger of the thing is that it's over a month away!
Well, good things come to those who wait. And while you're waiting get yourself over to a place where you can sign up for the fun. Click on the graphic below to do just that. And if you've got any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I know nothing, but will gladly direct you to someone who does.
You still here? What are you waiting for! Get over there and sign up! Good grief, you won't get any goodies with your procrastinating ways. Get some gumption and go! Now!!!

Thanks for the shout out - Alix & I appreciate it. I love fun mail, too!
Hmmm. I guess us Canadians can't play. Sigh.
BUT April 15th is my final exam date for this year. I'll celebrate with you anyway, cause I'll be VERY happy to have this school year DONE and DUSTED! :)
Oh fun!! I love to get mail!! I am a bit of a slacker when it comes to mailing things. I don't know why, maybe it's because the nearest post office is 20 miles away!?? I hate driving that far to go to the post office just to be in there for 5 minutes and then turn around and drive back home. I know life is ruff.
I did get kicked by my two year old gelding this morning!! Fun! Maybe I need a gift?!!
I have an even better idea for the Tax Relief Swap. Rather than swapping gifts, we swap taxes. So if I have to pay $2000 and you are getting $3000 back, we swap. You pay mine, I get yours.
Hmmmm.... interesting. Sound like fun. Who doesn't like packages? :)
I tried to sign up but couldn't find the Mr. Linky. This sounds like so much fun!
I am secretly hoping that there is a way I can rig this little shindig and get to pick who I get. You know you are high on that list. ;-)
Sounds fun. I'll check it out. I have to get my taxes done first though! Oops, keep forgetting that.
Thanks for the link - I'll go over and check it out! Have a good day Karen - see ya! Kellan
Spammon - you wish! Have a herd of your own kids - this is the one time of year it really pays.
Sounds like fun. Maybe ... :)
Oh that AFF, she's always thinking!
Thanks for the tip- I love goodies. I will have to think about joining in!
