Saturday Shots Volume 3.3

Here's what we did this week:

Becky turned 13. I'm officially the mother of a teenager. Strangely, it feels no different then being the mother of the moody preteen that's been living with us for a few years now.

I lurve me some fresh aired bedding.

Micah has been wiped out all week with this cold and pink eye. And antibiotics. And you'll notice that red streak on the carpet leading right into his hand? His red permanent marker episode caught on film.

Homework on the patio! It was that warm.

The corgi herd. Indie, Lucy, Ryhtym & Minnie (L to R). Who knows where the other half of our dogs were.

Woody gets to meet Mr. Frog. It was a good day for everyone.

Cute pictures!! I am assuming that your daughter is blowing out the candles and not sneezing on her cake!

Your corgis look like truncated German shepherds. Cute! Glad your weather's warming up. :)

Oh warmer weather...that would be so nice. Actually we did get out for a few minutes ourselves today.

Hope you enjoyed your conference and thanks for the pictures...I love the glimpses into your life!

OMG, I just figured out that our neighbor has corgis. We've been trying to figure out what they are since they've lived there.

I have to say that's kind of a weird looking breed!

13, better you than me at this point I can barely handle a 5 year old.

Christine - yes, she was blowing, but it looks suspiciously sneezy to me too!

Melissa - corgis are incredibly silly looking dogs. We love them, obviously. They're kinda like me - quite hefty with no stature. LOL

Happy Birthday to Becky! Looks like your week has been jam packed! I loved the pic of your bedding on the clothesline :) It reminds me of Spring/ Summer...which is totally not showing up here at the moment :(

Great photos all the way around! I'm digging Micah's bright red boots. They look positively splashable.

Micah rocks the red duck boots (for some reason that's what Isaac called rain boots when he was a toddler and we've never looked back)!

Love the rest of the pictures. Jealous jealous of your weather. It snowed AGAIN here yesterday!

Loved your last two lines...so clever! My daughter turns 11 in three weeks. She's not even a teenager yet, and her moods are seriously making us wonder if we need to call the stress center. She lay in her bed and cried for an hour and a half late last night because she just felt so irritated and angry and didn't know why. Help!

So how long til everyone else in the house has the dreaded pink eye? And how many dogs do you have?

Happy Birthday Becky!

And that's only *half* your dogs? Dang.

Karen said...

Spammon - Micah is host to the 3rd round of pink eye in a week. We only have one child unaffected at the moment, plus parents and dogs. (dogs can be carriers) And the dogs? We just placed one in a new home, so we're down to 8 - 4 inside and 4 outside.
