Saturday Shots 4.4

This is where I'll be spending my evenings this summer. When I'm not riding.

Because of my advancing age, my eyes have decided to slowly lose focus. I need glasses to read with. (When I feel like it.)

I know what you're thinking. But not everyone can be hawt like me. Especially at 1 AM with no makeup and hair that wishes it went to bed hours ago. (I think I brushed it in the morning, but I can't be sure.)

I think I dig the glasses. I need mine to see just about anything.

AFF- yeh, it's hard to tell whether or not the glasses work since the person wearing them could use a total makeover. Or at least a shower.

Melissa - we've been around about the barbering thing. The ponies are loaned to us on contract and part of that states that we can't trim them. Ever. So there is he in all his hairy glory.

Heh. Photographic proof that you look about 29. I like it.

I LOVE bare piggies. That's an adorable photo!

ITA - you look good - without makeup, so think of what you look like when you do get one ;) AND young. Seriously. I saw the picture of you, and had no clue it was you. I thought maybe it was a picture of one of the kids, then I thought, no, that doesn't look like the kids. I was all confused. Please don't do that to me, you know I have a hard time when I am confused, LOL.

Love the pony pics and I REALLY love those overalls!!

Your yard...with grass and lack of giant holes and giant rocks, has made me cry, right here at my computer.

ALF - never fear, every other year or so we decide on a major project and have dirt hauled in by the triaxle load, dig holes, move mountains and make a mess. Then we spend the next year or so trying desperately to grow grass.

Oh don't feel bad about your glasses, I wear them everyday all day because if not, I would be soooo blind. I started getting old at 9 years old! LOL!! And I love that pony's hair!! Never cut a shetland's long hair!! I sold a pony that had the most beautiful forelock that almost touched his nose and the new owners chopped it off with sissors, he looked so silly! Poor Pony!! Your BBQ and stone turned out great!!

Let's put your picture with my black eye picture and we will look like a episode of America's most wanted!

I'm having heart palpitations over your patio. Did you guys do that yourselves? Wanna come over and teach us how?

Also, those short overalls are too cute.

Karen said...

Mom Bomb - Thank you! Yes, we did all the work ourselves from salvaged materials. We're cheap like that.

Oh my, that patio is wonderful!!!! I love it! We built a flagstone patio, but I am not very happy with it. My husband seriously injured his back putting it in, so I know asking for a re-do is definitely a NO-GO. Oh well.

Great pics!

I ENVY your patio. What a great place!

You look fab at one in the morning in glasses. What are you 25?

Wow, I was going to comment on the gorgeous place for you to spend the nice weather, and NOW I find out you did it yourself? Karen, you're putting me to shame (since, you know, I'm sort of hiring people to come rip out my landscaping and put in something pretty). Truly impressed, on top of everything else you do.

And I'm nosy... how does the pony loaning on contract thing work for you? He is a cutie!

Michelle - we got the ponies from a wonderful organization that raises UK Shetlands and gives to kids with disabilities. They're specially bred for their temperament and I must say that they will allow Micah to do literally anything with them. They're ours to keep until we decide we no longer want them, and then we simply turn them back to the agency so they can be placed with another family. See PersonalPonies.org.

You look pretty with your glasses. I , on the other hand, look like a total geek.

The barbeque looks yummy! I can' almost smell it :)

Yes, I'm slow. But if I'm ok with it, everyone else should be, too. Right? :)

Anyway... LOVE the glasses! They make you look feisty! Which, in my opinion, is NEVER a bad thing!

I like your glasses way better than the ones I got for driving when my eyes are tired...and for 1am, you do look hawt! Better than I do! :)
And how tall is Micah? He looks so big in that picture! Unless you're playing games and that's Luke....
