A Day In The Life Of Boys

Helping mama garden is always fun. There's nothing quite as satisfying as digging up a tomato plant.

Luke finally lost his front teeth. And it didn't involve a scooter accident. He walks around singing "All I Want For The Fourth Of July Is My Two Front Teeth."

Micah got his summer hair cut. He also got his summer road rash.

Guess what the boys found down near the stream?

Go ahead, take a guess.

Tractor Ball, anyone?

Climbing the walls, the stair railing, and mommy's short rope of patience.

The feet that do the running.

Falling asleep dirty on the couch can only mean one thing: it was a good day.

awesome! I thought only my little heathens climbed up and down stairs like that!

Congrats to luke on the tooth loss! My middle one lost a tooth this afternoon as well!

i wish we had a stream near our place the boys could play in.. on second thought, maybe not. Don;t you worry about them falling in or anything?

Those kids remind me of some of my own, destroying the garden and climbing the walls and changing song lyrics. They're great. I guess the one picture is of a handsome prince who hasn't been kissed.

I loved those pics, boys just never sit still, do they ... except when they've had a hard day - love that last picture in particular, scabbed knee and all.

What great pictures! I love that last one...something about a child falling asleep in funny places is so great :)

Sounds like you are off to a great summer!

That last shot is darling. :)

My youngest likes to let things roll down the banister (it's wide and flat). I keep telling him not to, that things will roll the wrong way and break my pretty lamp on the piano. Last night it happened. Grr. Boys.

The only thing scarier than Micah's never ending need to climb things is that THING the boys found in the stream. YUCK! The frog I can handle, but I'm not cool with any other water critters.

Great pics!

Love love love the pictures!!

I also feel very pleased that your kids fall asleep dirty too. You should have seen Gracie's feet last night, but the last thing I was going to do was wake her up to have a bath. There's always tomorrow!!

I'm confused - is that a lobster?

Okay, where do I begin? Is that the one legged frog that has been haunting me? And ... I love the blue wall color ... And ... what is Micah stirring in that bowl? And ... what's a garden? :)

That does look like a fun day (minus bug-like water creature)!
