My Day In Photos

Tonight I'm posting my day through the lens of my camera. Why? Because I can. After taking pictures of our day, I left the camera outside on the patio to weather the rainstorm all by it's lonesome. I'll admit, it was not one of my more brilliant moments in time. But I was spared a death by nagging and accusation - it still works. I do not need to tell my husband about my day's misdeed, and neither do you.

So here's what we did. Or at least some of it.

No day is complete without chasing, rabbit ears, and running indoors.

Luke's version of ear tubes.

Luke now has Micah helping dig that hole to bury the family in someday.

Always trucking.

Playing Pirates and Cowboys. Not sure who's winning. Or losing.

Puppy adventures abound. If they're not trying to escape on their own, Micah is helping them. I was awakened this morning to the sound of a puppy crying for it's mother after Micah pulled it through that crack. He then tried playing hide and seek with it instead of putting it back.

While I was out shuffling horses from pasture to pasture (don't even ask) Micah took advantage of the time to introduce one litter of puppies to the other. I'm pretty sure Rhythm has her own babies back and not some of Grace's by accident.

The boy cannot be trusted for one millisecond by himself. It's a wonder I have any sanity left at all. Of course, that's a debatable point.

Micah helped Becky paint the lattice the other day. He used the radio's remote control to stir the paint. See? The boy can't be left alone.

This is one of my favorites from the day. Micah didn't want his picture taken so he put his finger up to the lens. Papparazzi, be gone!

We had a soccer game in the rain tonight, but the camera was left at home. We've already covered the dirty little details of that, though.

I can sooo relate! Peanut is so fast. As you try to get her out of one mess, she's moved on to another. It takes several of us to keep up with her sometimes!

I love the hole the boys are digging. If you ever stop blogging mysteriously, we'll know where to look for you. Make sure you don't fall in that thing.

Personally, I think it speaks volumes about where Micah's at in his own development, knowing that he was so concerned about the socialization of those puppies that he arranged, and transported to and from, their very first playdate! I love that!!

I just can't read posts like this one so early in the morning. I'm exhausted by it :)

I'm glad the camera survived. Although, if it had died, that might have been an excuse to invest in Mr. Canon. He's quite the playmate.

There are a few Hollywood stars who could stand to learn from Micah.

Looks like a busy day! Those puppies are so cute -- no wonder Micah can't leave them alone. I'd be trying to snuggle with them all the time, too.

Nice save on the camera! I would ... um ... poop myself if I left mine outside!

Whew! That would have totally sucked if you had drowned your camera :)

Cute pix, too! (what brand is your camera - apparently it is indestructible!)

My fave is the cowboy photo. Reminds me of that guy "The Naked Cowboy" who walks around Times Square in his underwear.

Wow! he is busy! maybe it's time for that fun old game "lets be a doggy in the crate"..hee hee! Gavin pretended he was a dog for HOURS at his grandparents and REFUSED to get out of the crate...he thought he was so funny staying in there while we tried to coax him out. Even now, if I suggest that he be a doggy, he gets excited and wants to go in the crate. :D

I like the day in the pictures! I can imagine all the trouble Micah and Kayla would get into together! I can't leave her alone either...especially with Lucas! I was just washing dishes and she was trying to feed him chuncks of plum!
