Oh my goodness, I'm a sucker for a sleepy puppy photo.
And also, I hate flies. HATE them. Ours are just regular ol' stinky buzzy ANNOYING flies. You would think having three cats would help..but no.
That picture you asked about is in fact of tree roots. Those are Cypress trees that grow in swampy areas. The roots grow up out of the water into 'knees' so the roots can breath.

These are absolutely perfect. OMG, puppies! I love puppy breath. All of the fall gourds and whatnot are awesome. I love this season.
LOVE THEM! Puppy pictures always make me squeal, and the one of the boys together . . . great catch!
