Dude. I took an entomology class in college- all bugs, all the time. At the end of the semester, there was a Bug Feast. Cricket cookies, mealworm casseroles- you name it.
I was unexpectedly absent from class that day, thankyouverymuch.
When I was in 4th grade, a kid, that I had forgotten all about (his name and existence came flooding back) until seeing that chocolate covered cricket, brought his father in for career day. His dad was an entolmogist, and he brought in a box of chocolate covered crickets for the interested parties to sample. I *wasn't* an interested party. Though, one year I put lollipops with tequila worms in them, in my kids' Christmas stockings.

Ewwww! (and yet really cool) lol
One of my kids has actually eaten a chocolate covered cricket before. It's called peer pressure from all his friends!!!!!

The secret is to swallow them before the chocolate is gone. :)
Awesome white elephant! My boys would love those :)
How could she ruin good chocolate like that?!?!
(This coming from the person with a bug phobia that rivals her love for chocolate.)
Yum! Not really-- that is pretty funny though!!
Considering that girl has three brothers..... I'd say that thinking of chocolate covered crickets was actually pretty tame. :)
