That couple right there is celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary today. I'm struggling with this. I tell people that we've been married for 22 years and then just fall over dead inside because only people that are far older than us have been married for over 2 decades. I remember way back when we were newlyweds in Alaska and friends of ours had been married for 12 years, and I thought "12 years! My gosh, they've been married forever." My parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary just the year before Sam and I tied the knot.
THIS CAN'T HAPPEN.
So I guess what I'm saying is that it's been the shortest 22 years in the history of ever. I guess that's what happens when you're in love, right?
