Spreading the Love this Holiday Season

The kids were home from school today. This is always interesting. Luke came downstairs and told me that he didn't like his sister. She followed hot on his heels and tackled him to the ground.

Her: Say it! Say it!
Him: AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
Her: Say it! Say it like you mean it.
Him: I "L" my sister.
Her: Say the whole word. Say it!
Him: Why is your butt on my face?
Her: Say it! Say it now!
Him: This is going to be embarrasing.
Her: Just say it already.
Him: Okay. (in a whisper) I love my sister.

Can you feel the love?

LMAO. that is the best kind of brotherly love. The kind forced out of you, LOL.

I remember when I was in high school, and one day I missed the bus, so my brother gave me a ride. So when he was dropping me off in front, with all the other kids walking in, he gets out of his car, waits until I am a good distance away and yells at the top of his lungs, I LOVE YOU JENNIFER... I tried to duck away, and because I didn't say anythign back he yelled again... JENNIFER.. HEY JENNIFER I SAID I LOVE YOU, WHAT DO YOU SAY BACK??!! I could have hurt him, LOL. But I do love him.

LOL! It sounds like Luke could feel the love...;)

That's about the only good thing about having one child no sibling fighting.

See, the great thing about having only boys? They do not feel the need to force emotional confessions out of each other.

On the other hand, as the big sister growing up, I have to applaud your daughter's style. :)

LOL! That was so like watching my own kids, for a moment, I forgot it wasn't.

BTW, I tagged you for an interesting meme. No one is going to force you, but it would be genuinely interesting to hear your opinions. :)

That is so funny and so sweet. Sometimes you have to force boys/guys/men to admit they love you!

The best part, though, was "Why is your butt on my head?" LOL!!

Kid are the best, aren't they?

FYI... as they get older they start saying this ALL ON THEIR OWN.

CJ and Connor say it to each other constantly! (of course, that mostly started when CJ left for the Air Force!)

I'm feeling the love all the way over on the other side of the city. In fact, I have a case of the warm fuzzies. Or is that someone's butt on my head? Either way, your kids rock!

BTW, I forgot to mention that the cow ears turned out great. I'll post pictures on my site later.

I used to fight with my sister CONSTANTLY! My mother would cry because she thought her daughters hated one another. Now, my sister and I are best friends and I couldn't imagine my life without her! I think age mellows us all out!
