Dinner Talk

We were sitting around the dinner table chatting and eating, eating and chatting. We passed seconds. We reminded kids to eat more and talk less. And then Luke pipes up.

He sits back in his chair, looking all exhausted and spent. He breaks out his cheesy British accent and says,

I'm feeling a bit full here and there.

You just never know what will come out of his mouth.

And that's one of the best parts about having them. I may have to introduce a British accent to the wee ones just so they can copy it someday! Too cute!

That totally reminded me of Bug's "two stomachs" comment a ways back!

And how creative of Luke to pull out the British accent!

well, it wouldn't have been complete without a British accent, now would it? Your kids have the best stories!

Haha! I love that he used a British accent. He's clearly a creative one!

I love the things that children say. It's often so ridiculous. Do you follow AmyJane on Twitter? She often posts about the hilarious things her son, Jonas, says...always cracks me up!

Ok, tell him to add these words to his British Vocab.
Bits and Bobs (instead of things, "We went to pick up a few bits and bobs")
Loads instead of lots "We have loads of play area".
Well good-- (who knows why), "Did you like your bangers and mash?" "Yes, it was well good".
Looks and a British accent, you may have to fight the ladies off!

I dig some British accent. And, every family has at least one performer, right?

See, and my kids call it their Polish accent. They wouldn't know a Polish accent if it snuck up and bit them on the butt.

Cute smile! Very cheesy.

Or in which accent. Next? Probably French.
