Micah's View of the World

Today was one of those kinda interesting days at the Rocking Pony house. Again. Micah went to the doctor this afternoon because that hoarseness that prevented surgery last week hasn't gone away. I figured a week is long enough, and if he needs meds I still have time to get them finished before the next surgery date. He was none too happy with me for holding him down and enabling the nurse to swab his throat. But Micah doesn't hold a grudge. I only wish he did. No, he gets even instead. He let the ponies out this afternoon just when we thought he'd forgotten all about the whole doctor thing. We won't even go into how we chased the ponies from the back of the horses, how I rode in shorts and rubbed the fat rolls on the inside of my legs raw, and how I may or may not have wet the saddle trying to keep from chafing my poor fat rolls. No, we won't talk about that.

Instead of boring you with all the details of the day twice in one week, I'll subject you to pictures that Micah took instead. The little stinker has been thiefing my camera regularly and I'm only grateful that nothing has happened to harm it. Yet.

I give you life through Micah's eyes.

Your puppies are so cute! I see that most of the pictures involve the puppies. The puppies look like they are hoping Micah will let them out!
Micah is great with fun angles!

Evie brought me the camera this morning babbling like she really wanted me to understand what she needed. Now I SO want to teach her to push the button...

I LOVE this post!!!!

Life through Micah's eyes is awesome!

And I have no idea why, but that picture of the ceiling fan is seriously speaking to me. I love it.

And if it helps reduce chafing, and all irritating side effects, it is no longer "wetting"... its "moisturizing".

See how much better that sounds? :)

Oh, those puppies are getting really adorable. He did pretty good, I think. I love that he took a picture of the fan. Is this the same fan Woody likes to fly from?

Well, that boy certainly keeps you on your toes. What a fun day! by the way- I agree with sports mama- you were moisturizing.

Micah just may have a future in photography- teach him well now and you can send him to work ;)

He has potential as a photographer. Just don't encourage him to make artwork using his own poo.

Good thing we're in the digital age, huh?
I got a roll of film back once that looked very similar. I was wondering what had gotten into me to take so many crazy pictures in a row until one little booger took a self portrait at the end of his photo session. :-)

Hang in there-- don't eat a whole pack of Rolos in the stress (yes, I did).

Ahh to see the world through the eyes of a child. I finally bought one of my kids her own camera so she would stop stealing mine!

I'm so sorry your ponies got OUT! That bites!

And your poor legs. Rub some antiseptic cream into them!

This is one wicked headcam view! I can see why he has so much fun. Everything looks like an incredible adventure. Starting with the caged foxes!

I like his take on life.

Sorry 'bout the throat. I had to have a strep test this week and those swabs make me gag.

My fat rolls chafe when I walk.

I want to hear all about your ride, in shorts, chaffing legs and fat rolls.

Oh and Micah is a GREAT photog! Love the shots!

We're on our way out the door today, no joke, to go shopping for a ceiling fan. Micah just gave me a peak of a really cool one. I'll be keeping my eyes out for that one. Thanks little guy!
