Random Explosions

* That title sounds kinda like what the Boston Terrier does around the house, but we won't talk about that. Well, actually we will. I discovered tonight that one should not accidentally lock the Boston in the pantry because when she's found a very palpable wave will follow her out. And you will wonder if you should air the food or just toss it all.

* Prentke-Romich rocks. But you all know that I feel that way by now. They called today and have another loaner for me. It should arrive mid-week so that I can return Ken's to him. (Why yes, I'm using his name. I figured since their own website outed him it was safe for me to as well.) While I had them on the phone I asked if we could get a Vantage Lite on loan until the insurance provides us one. I'm now on the waiting list. Hopefully it won't be long. Yeh, I'm kinda impatient.

* I have the cold of the decade, and my head feels like it's going to explode. Seriously. Or maybe it did and this is what the remains feel like. Micah has it, too. He slept until 10:30 this morning and it's his personal record. Why yes, I did keep him home from school. It was very astute of you to notice that.

* Never go anywhere in clothing you don't want to be seen in. I went to my BFF's house today in sweats, which is fine because she wears them too. We're both cool like that. It was the ankle socks and clogs paired with the capri length sweats that didn't look so snazzy, but since I kicked off my shoes at her door I figured it didn't matter. I then remembered that I had errands to run. Four different stops to be exact. Always nice, you know? I'm blaming the brain clog on the sinuses.

* The shop has been nearly shopped dry over the past two weeks. I spend all my days relisting things, emailing customers, sewing, packing and shipping. I'll bet you've noticed that I haven't been around to read anything, haven't you? Sorry. And I can't even promise to catch up either. I'm thinking with the backlog I've got it's going to be a mass Mark As Read. My head hurts just thinking about that.

* My dog food supplier of choice had some serious mark-downs today. It wasn't the brand I normally buy, but when a $45 bag is reduced to $8 you've gotta be dumber than me to let it sit there. The cashier said they don't allow torn bags to sit around because it looks junky. How wrong would it be to turn the boys loose in there with a few sharp sticks and aim them in the direction of my brand of choice? How wrong was it that the thought even crossed my mind?

* We have puppies. I know you should know this, but I'll bet you haven't seen them in a while. The spaniels? Are like snuggling a little piece of heaven. I'm not even kidding.

Oh my goodness look at those puppies...how do you ever manage to part with them?

As for the cold, sorry to hear it but I'm so there with you. I snorfled yesterday (its a hopeism) and had a moment where I seriously thought my brain fell out of my ear...seriously!!

Feel better!

Cute, cute, cute. I can almost smell their puppy breath. I'm sorry about your cold. There is nothing worse when you have a million things to remember and do and having no space in you head for them because a cold has taken up residence in your head. (Vicks baby bath is good for Mom's too.)

Have you seen those commercials where they people are holding their heads in their arms because they hurt so badly? The head exploding reminded me of that. I hope you feel better.

Those puppies are so adorable!! I love the curly ears!! Too dang cute.

Awww dose wittow puppies are so CUTE!

And your store is shopped dry? Like I need to get my act together? I'm not ready to think about Christmas yet! BUT SOOOOO yay to you for making such cool things that people love them so much. If only you weren't so popular and needed publicity like you'd get from Mister Man's and Little Miss's preschool Cinco de Mayo silent auction (ok, so I can't think about Christmas yet, but I'm already freaking out about May 5, I know it doesn't make sense) ;)

Here's hoping you feel better soon!!

Well, I did read through the post, but when I saw those adorable puppies that's all I could remember. ADORABLE!!! What a great ending to a day that promised disaster and delivered peacefulness. That's a day worth celebrating by ooohing and aaaaahing over some cute pups. (Thanks for praying -- I sure needed it ... don't stop 'kay??)

First.... NYQUIL. It rocks. (And has the added benefit of giving your child the gift of sleeping in multiple days. But don't ask me how I know this.... I'll just deny it all.)

Next, dressing like that is apparently the thing to do out here in the desert. You wouldn't believe how many of the girls in the high school sound similar to that outfit.

I still wish I had someone little enough in my house for your store. Maybe I can borrow someone's toddler.....????

And I have a very strong urge to pair those puppies up with my dog-whisperer sons. Some women get urges to have another baby when they see one....Me? I get puppy cravings.

Sorry about the cold. That sucks.

Hurray for a new loaner. Start using it ASAP. And don't forget that you should be using it as much as him! Model, model, model!

Don't feel badly. I'm still wading through my reader as well and it ain't pretty. I'm hardly leaving any comments anywhere, but I'm still lurking. Just barely!

But you should be feeling better by Thanksgiving! And that will be just in time to nurse the rest of the family. P.S. Usually when I dress cutting edge in my cut-off sweats and stained shirts, the kids' school calls and demands that I get over there immediately. I'm sorry to say it's always a toss - up: rescue my sick kids and embarrass them to death with my outfit or let them throw up once more at school, but look good walking in to get them ?

The puppies are so adorable! I would of been thinking the same thing about boys, sticks and dog food bags!
Hope you and Micah feel better. I don't think is feeling well either. I told school he would not be there this morning and after that I'll see how it goes. Him and Joe both are still sleeping - it's 9:45 here.
Have a good day!

Y'know, I already turned Allison in to What Not to Wear. I will do the same for you, if only I can come up with photographic evidence . . .

You can never post enough puppy photos. It's not possible.

Oh, and feel better soon. Please?

Those are beautiful puppies :-)
As for being behind, you haven't missed anything at my place, so don't stress yourself about that place. And the sweats and clogs, wow, the sexy image that conjured! I could kind of empathize since I have been fighting an old-lady's perfumed-induced allergy attack. When my eyes are dripping and I'm smearing the makeup, it gets pretty. I forgot the pretty and went to the store. And people were looking at me weird. When I got to the car and looked, all I could do was laugh. I had makeup on one side of my face and the other side looked like a watercolor left in the rain. :-)
Congrats on so many sales!! See you when you pull out from it.
