Lessons In Fairness

This boy finds so much joy in life.

He's not just happy with breakfast, he's joyous over the occasion. He's also joyous about watching a movie he's seen a few dozen times or getting to be the one to let the dogs outside. And he's equally joyous to see friends that he loves or go to church or get ice cream.

I hear so many say that God was not fair in making some people with disabilities. How is it fair that someone like Micah has to live with Downs?

I couldn't agree more.

If only we could all be more like him. It's just not fair that the rest of us live with discontent, jealousy, and pettiness. It's not fair that we struggle to find joy in big things, much less small things.

I wish to be more like my son, and find joy in all things. He's my hero that way.

Oh, I loved this! It's SO true, Beth doesn't judge, she's content with her life... I so wish to be more like her.
