Saturday Shots 1.3

Micah helps set the table. I'll bet you're wishing that you could eat with us on a regular basis, aren't you?

The Christmas Crazy, boxed and ready to be stored for another year. By the time we hauled it all to the attic I was really glad that it doesn't have to be messed with again for almost a year.

The glow of the ski resort on the mountain. After skiing hours the mountain top is covered in a fog from all the snow making going on. I think of it as the City on a Hill. It's kind of ironic that none of us ski.

The yard lights, snowed over.

Yum, turkey.

Hee hee! It just reminds us that in restaurants, don't put anything on the table you don't want going into your mouth. I was once waiting to pick up a pizza and could see into the kitchen from where I was standing... a guy hopped up onto the counter where they roll out the pizzas and top them with his SHOES ON to get a big bucket of something and then hopped back down after handing it to someone and continued making pizzas. I walked out without my pizza.

OH MY!!! I can't get my mouth off of the floor after reading Michelle's comment! Yikes! I'll take your dining room table any day!

I totally bust out laughing after reading the first comment you made and seeing the picture (yes, I do things in that order).

And Michelle's comment... gross!

That pizza dude should have been fired!! Did you call the store?

What a pretty view of the ski resort. What's the name of it?

Gorgeous! And I feel the same way about holiday decorations . . . I love when they are up, but loathe the process of putting them all away. Someone could make a fortune decorating houses for the holidays and then coming back to take all the decorations down. I will add that to my list of prospective jobs.

You have to admire his balance and ingenuity at getting the job done! :D
And I cannot believe in the turkey-leg pic that is Tink in the back! How big she's gotten. :)

Happy Birthday!...I seem to remember it was right about now, but couldn't get to your archives from this time last year to get the exact date so we're forced to use rely on my less-than-stellar memory. Hope you have a fun and relaxing day.

Hey - you didn't say HOW to set the table, you just said to set the table. He did that!

That looks like a great turkey treat he has going there!

Dude - if I lived that close to a ski resort, you'd have to DRAG ME FROM THE SLOPES at the end of the weekend. I LOVE skiing.

And that first photo reminds me of what I saw this morning when I came down to breakfast ... the cat with his butthole on my placemat sitting on the table. Hawt.

It'll take me at least a week, now, before I can forget about the pizza place and the shoes and bring myself to order pizza. Wait. That's a good thing.

can that little boy eat a WHOLE turkey leg? the dog knows a good thing,...

Karen said...

Karen Deborah - he didn't eat it all that day, but there's no doubt that he could. The boy puts away some serious amounts of food.

*crossing my fingers that Sorg doesn't somehow find the pic of tablesetting at the RockingPony house*

I do have to hand it to the kid for being helpful. And, it is adorable.
