Grateful

This Thanksgiving, I wish you and your family to remember the many blessings you have. Each of us has have more than we deserve. Set aside the time to remember, and be thankful.

Our family has so very reasons to thank the Lord this year.

* Becky got peace by asking Jesus to be Lord of her life.

* Micah got a Voice.

* Micah is in kindergarten. This was a long and difficult road for me, and I agonized over the decision to send him. It turned out to be one of the best things I ever did for him. Mostly because his teacher is awesome.

* Our family got to vacation this year! This is a big deal because most years we simply can't afford to take 4 kids anywhere. Praise the Lord, and pass the tax refund! (5 points to the one who knows where that movie quote came from.) Our Christmas cards look a bit strange with pictures of the Grand Canyon, but the kids will remember this for a lifetime.

* Despite all the sickness our family started the year with, we're incredibly healthy. Sure, it was yet another surgery year (when isn't it, with Micah?) but we're healthy. We're incredibly blessed.

* The store is doing well. I am thrilled to be able to be a stay at home mom, and still have an income. It may not be steady, and most months it's not enough to even make a car payment with (drat - because we need a new one) but it is enough to have a little extra for fun and pay a few bills with.

* We have 4 wonderful kids. Really, these guys are so good hearted, polite, and well behaved. Except when they're not. ;) They make us proud.

* We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary this year. The longer we're married, the more I realize what it means to have a healthy, happy marriage. We're looking forward to the next 16.

* My friends, both in real life and in the bloggy world. The people I've met through the internet mean just as much to me as the ones that I can sip coffee with. Frieds are the glue that holds your day together.

Lord, may we never forget how much You've given us. Without You, we would simply have things and nothing else. Thank You, Lord, for giving meaning to life, for the joy that we find in the many blessing that we have, and for Your peace that passes all understanding. Lord, everything we have and all that we are is a direct result of Your hand on our lives. Thank You.

Awww. *sniff* I still think you should raise your prices at the store, man. You could TOTALLY make more money!

PS - acknowledging that your marriage is great is NOT sufficient to qualify for the giveaway.

Your so right. AMEN! I knew you would say those two special things can't think of anything better. God does provide for us. I am so grateful you are a stay home mom and putting your family first! Your right about internet friends. I wonder how I can be getting so attached to people where I just read their blogs. Please smooch a few extra's on those lovely children from blogger nannie.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! You are on my list of people that I am thankful for, and while I am not necessarily thankful for all of the experiences of the past year, they have made the blessings in my life that much richer and have reminded me of just how much I have to be thankful for. Enjoy your day!

I loved Tranny's little bitchery. Shame on her. Naughty. I'm so glad Burgh hooked us up - because the Pitt crew is one rocking crew of ladies. I love what you appreciate.
